WE ARE SEEKING SALES ASSOCIATES

At Gavel Roads, we know auctions. Gavel Roads was born and raised from Gene Francis & Associates, a long standing, family-owned business based in Wichita, KS. For over 30 years Gene Francis & Associates has been selling real estate and performing live auctions all over Kansas. With over 100 years combined live auction experience, we have brought our expertise to online users.

Our team is growing and we are looking for Sales Associates who are passionate, driven, collaborative and love what they do. We are looking for someone who works independently, thinks big and thinks now. Do you like to build productive partnerships? Do you find yourself to be a good communicator? What are your core responsibilities?
• Obtain items to sell on Gavel Roads
• Create substantial recurring business in an assigned territory which may include Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma or Texas
• Develop, execute and manage relationships with consignors through frequent face-to-face interactions
• Focused efforts in agricultural, construction and government agencies equipment
• Work with web based technology business platform to conduct daily operations
• Independent sales with significant commission income

What you need to succeed?
• History of success in sales
• Demonstrate experience working with and developing productive relationships
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Responds promptly and follows through with clientele
• Flexibility
• Significant travel required, valid driver’s license and transportation
